Mr Dieye is also a WHO consultant, a member of the regional committee to verify the elimination of measles and rubella through vaccination in Africa. Prof. Dieye's work has not gone unnoticed, and he has been awarded numerous times for his contributions to global health. His research has been published in prestigious medical journals, and he is frequently invited to speak at conferences and symposiums around the world. The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has shown the urgency for the African continent to locally have quality and accessible biological medicines.
